A Delaware federal judge on Friday rebuffed HTC Corp.'s bid to invalidate one of two Immersion Corp. touchscreen technology patents it is alleged to have infringed, saying he will consider HTC's argument after trial while noting the argument should have been raised earlier.

A Delaware federal judge ruled Wednesday that software maker Immersion Corp. can proceed with claims smartphone manufacturer HTC Corp. violated its touchscreen technology patents, invalidating three of Immersion's patents but rejecting HTC's bid to find it hadn't infringed two others.
