The fallout from the U.S. Supreme Court's decision easing the path toward invalidating vague patents continued Monday as AT&T Inc. and other telecommunications firms pushed a Texas federal judge to revisit his decision rejecting their bid to toss the bulk of infringement claims lodged by Adaptix Inc.

A Texas federal judge on Thursday shut down most of a bid by AT&T Inc. and others to end parts of three lawsuits alleging the companies are infringing on cell phone technology patents held by Adaptix Inc., but granted a motion for summary judgment on three claims in one of the patents in suit.

Telecommunications and patent licensing company Adaptix Inc. hit Verizon Wireless, LG Electronics Inc., Apple Inc. and AT&T Inc. with a pair of patent suits Friday, accusing the companies of infringing its patents covering wireless technology.
