The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency told a Washington federal judge Friday that energy broker OceanConnect LLC has no standing to sue the agency over its purchase of $6.7 million in falsified renewable fuel credits from an EPA-endorsed company.

An energy broker seeking $6.7 million in reimbursement lodged a suit last week against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C., federal court, alleging it purchased falsified renewable fuel credits from an EPA-endorsed company and should be relieved of their financial burden.
