Mobile Payment Co. Seeks Toss Of $13M Patton Boggs Suit
Upaid Systems Ltd. sought Thursday to dismiss Patton Boggs LLP's suit claiming the British mobile payment company owes it $13.7 million in legal bills, arguing a Texas federal court has no jurisdiction because the firm, with its international partners, should be considered a foreign citizen.

Patton Boggs Says Upaid Owes Millions For IP Litigation
Patton Boggs LLP accused former client Upaid Systems Ltd. on Monday in Texas of failing to pay at least $3 million in billings plus a contractually owed contingent fee for representing the company in an intellectual property dispute with Satyam Computer Service Ltd. that ended in a $70 million settlement.
