Mogul Steve Wynn's hotel company escaped unscathed from a Nevada agency's investigation into shareholder allegations that it masked a $135 million bribe for a Macau casino project in a university donation and has also had a related suit tossed, Wynn Resorts Ltd. said Monday.

A Nevada federal judge on Wednesday overturned a previous order dismissing a shareholder derivative suit brought by investors alleging bribery of foreign officials ahead of a planned Macau casino deal and aimed at Las Vegas mogul Steve Wynn and executives from his casino empire, following a scheduling mix-up in the case.

A group of Wynn Resorts Ltd. shareholders on Tuesday sued Las Vegas mogul Steve Wynn and his casino empire's board of directors for allegedly using a donation to a Macau university to funnel a bribe to officials weighing approval for a planned $2.5 billion casino on the Chinese island.
