An Oregon federal judge on Tuesday revoked the U.S. Bureau of Land Management's approval of a wind farm in the state, saying the agency failed to properly consider the project's effects on the greater sage-grouse that live in the area.

The U.S. government told an Oregon federal court Friday that it fully considered the environmental and wildlife impacts before approving an industrial wind farm on Steens Mountain in its bid to defeat a challenge by environmental groups alleging the project was improperly pushed through.
