A New York federal judge has ruled that defendants facing clawback suits from the trustee handling Bernie Madoff's estate may move to dismiss those claims by showing that he failed to plausibly allege a lack of good faith, according to court documents filed Monday.

A former daughter-in-law of Ponzi schemer Bernard Madoff on Monday asked to move a trustee's clawback suit against her to federal district court, joining hundreds of defendants in similar actions who have argued that the trustee's claims don't belong in front of a bankruptcy judge.
