A Florida federal judge on Tuesday granted in part Apotex Inc.'s motion to compel discovery of Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc.'s quinapril products in a patent infringement lawsuit over blood pressure medication development methods, ruling it is entitled to view the products if they are relevant to the case.

Apotex Inc. sued Pfizer Inc., UCB Inc. and other rival generic-drug makers in Florida federal court Friday, alleging the competing pharmaceutical companies infringed Apotex's patents covering forms of blood pressure drugs.
