A Pennsylvania federal judge Tuesday remanded to state court SigmaPharm Inc.'s lawsuit accusing Mutual Pharmaceutical Co. Inc. and others of conspiring to suppress the release of generic forms of muscle relaxant Skelaxin, ruling she lacked jurisdiction over the case, which only asserts state law claims.

SigmaPharm Inc. on Wednesday sought a fresh start in its long-running antitrust fight with King Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Mutual Pharmaceutical Co. Inc., which it accuses of masterminding a conspiracy to suppress the release of generic forms of the muscle relaxer Skelaxin and to rob it of millions in royalties.
