Bimbo Foods Bakeries Distribution Inc. last week settled a class action filed in New Jersey federal court, resolving a claim from 60 baked-good distributors that alleged Bimbo blocked them from reselling other bread products in violation of New Jersey's Franchise Practices Act.

A proposed class action alleging Bimbo Foods Bakeries Distribution Inc. blocked 60 baked good distributors from reselling brand name bread products still stands after a New Jersey federal judge on Wednesday pared the suit's lost profit damages claims but preserved its New Jersey state franchise law claims.
