The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission pressed an Oklahoma federal judge Monday to block Voss Electric Co.'s efforts to duck a potential religious discrimination injunction, arguing that the lighting company's bid is premature.

Voss Electric Co. was hit with a suit by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Oklahoma federal court Monday, alleging that the lighting retailer discriminated against a job applicant because he was not a born-again Christian.
