A New Jersey federal judge on Wednesday rejected oil tycoon Jack J. Grynberg's attempt to stall his suit accusing Goldman Sachs Group Inc. of blocking capital financing for his companies from being transferred to New York, saying Grynberg couldn't justify keeping the suit in New Jersey.

Independent oil prospector Jack J. Grynberg launched a suit in New Jersey federal court Tuesday accusing Goldman Sachs Group Inc. of conspiring to keep his company from receiving capital financing.
