Environmental groups pressed a Wyoming federal judge on Wednesday to quickly suspend all oil and natural gas activities in a 100,000-acre swath of the Powder River Basin, arguing that the U.S. Bureau of Land Management ignored damage to elk habitats when it approved a new energy development plan.
