A Pennsylvania federal judge ruled Friday that a former Wendy's International Inc. manager's suit alleging she was fired after requesting accommodations for her disability did not qualify as a class action because individual class members' cases would be too dissimilar from one another.

Wendy's International Inc. asked a federal judge on Tuesday to dismiss putative class claims against the fast food chain in a discrimination suit brought by a former employee who alleges she was laid off after the company refused to accommodate her disability.
