Producers of Lifetime's "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp" have settled a copyright suit brought by the family of former Disney Channel star Kyle Massey, who claimed the reality show was based on their idea for a show about Sarah Palin's daughter, according to court documents filed Friday in California.

Actor Kyle Massey and his family on Tuesday sued the producers of Lifetime reality show "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp" for breach of contract in California federal court, alleging they stole the idea for the show about Sarah Palin's daughter.
