A Texas federal judge on Wednesday halted a portion of a suit against Toyota Motor Corp. until the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office can conduct an America Invents Act review of several patents it is accused of infringing.

Interactive displays and crash notification systems in Toyota Motor Corp. and BMW AG vehicles allegedly infringe five different patents, according to two suits filed Monday in Texas federal court by American Vehicular Sciences LLC.
