A Florida federal judge tossed a consolidated suit by Florida Atlantic University's research arm, which accused TPV Technology Ltd., Acer Inc. and Asustek Computer Inc. of infringing a video converter patent, ruling Wednesday that the companies provided enough evidence showing the patent is invalid.
