Cincinnati Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips told a Missouri federal court Monday that a gold-colored baseball glove made for him by Wilson Sporting Goods Co. does not infringe Rawlings Sporting Goods Co. Inc.'s trademarks, urging the court to throw out Rawlings' claims.

Rawlings Sporting Goods Co. Inc. slammed rival Wilson Sporting Goods Co. with an infringement lawsuit on Thursday for marketing a special gold-colored baseball glove, saying the product was a confusing knockoff of Rawlings' iconic Gold Glove award.
