A Texas federal judge on Friday questioned the legitimacy of a proceeding by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency that could strip cyclist Lance Armstrong of his seven Tour de France titles, in a hearing to determine whether to again throw out a countersuit Armstrong brought to stop the agency.

Hours after former professional cyclist Lance Armstrong tried to block the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency from pursuing allegations that could take away his seven Tour de France victories, a federal judge threw out the suit, slamming it as a plea for media attention.
