A New York federal judge on Wednesday rejected an oil tanker company's effort to overturn a $55 million settlement of a $500 million arbitral award it won against the Nigerian National Petroleum Corp., saying evidence undermined the company's claim that its CEO was strong-armed into signing the settlement.
