Job Applicants Sue Green Mountain Over Background Checks
A spurned job applicant lodged a putative class action against Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. in Virginia federal court Monday, accusing the company of violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act by using unauthorized consumer reports to reject candidates for employment.
