A Texas court on Tuesday booted a $12 million negligence suit brought by a family who claims a Georgia law firm botched their tainted peanut butter class action suit against ConAgra Foods Inc., saying the case does not belong in Texas.

A Texas family wants $12 million from the law firm litigating a class action against ConAgra Foods Inc. over the company's salmonella-tainted peanut butter, alleging in a lawsuit removed to federal court Thursday the firm didn't serve them with important motions and prevented them from recovering against the manufacturer.
