A California federal judge dismissed a trademark infringement case against Starbucks Corp. on Thursday after the coffee company settled with a Southern California vegan fast-food restaurant that had accused it of ripping off its logo and using it to market a line of organic juices and a chain of stores.

A San Diego-based vegan restaurant on Monday hit Starbucks Corp. with a trademark infringement lawsuit accusing the coffee giant of copying its logo after purchasing organic juice maker Evolution Fresh Inc. in a bid to dominate the health restaurant industry.
