Shop-Vac, Lowe's End False Ad MDL With Warranty Extension
Shop-Vac and Lowe's on Friday agreed to extend the warranties of certain wet/dry vacuums that numerous consumers claim are not as powerful as advertised and to pay about $4 million in legal fees to end to years of multidistrict litigation carried out in Pennsylvania.

Shop-Vac, Lowe's False-Ad MDL Trimmed To 2 Lead Plaintiffs
A Pennsylvania federal judge on Thursday dismissed a lead plaintiff's claims in a multidistrict litigation against Shop-Vac Corp. and Lowe's HIW Inc. alleging that certain Shop-Vac vacuums weren't as powerful as promised, but left intact claims by two others.
