An Ohio federal jury has found that Citrix Systems Inc. did not infringe a patent covering remote computer access technology held by Canadian technology company 01 Communique Laboratory Inc. but declined to invalidate the patent, according to court documents.

Citrix Systems Inc. has lost a bid to invalidate a patent covering remote computer access technology that it stands accused of infringing, with an Ohio federal judge saying Citrix "oversimplified" the patent in its attempt to invalidate it for claiming abstract ideas under the U.S. Supreme Court's Alice framework.
