Erie Indemnity Co. must face claims in Pennsylvania state court that it bilked an unincorporated insurance exchange out of $300 million in fees after a federal judge on Wednesday refused to stay his decision remanding the case back to the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas.

Erie Indemnity Co. removed to Pennsylvania federal court on Wednesday what it says is a putative class action brought by members of an unincorporated insurance exchange alleging it snatched more than $300 million from the exchange by improperly retaining fees and other charges.
