Pharmacia Beats Mass. School's PCB Contamination Suit
Pharmacia Corp. couldn't have known as far back as 1961 that polychlorinated biphenyls present in window caulk installed in a Massachusetts elementary school were potentially toxic, a federal judge ruled Wednesday, tossing a former class action against the one-time PCB manufacturer.

Pharmacia Seeks Nixing Of School PCB Class Action
Pharmacia Corp. asked a Massachusetts federal judge on Monday to dismiss a Massachusetts town's proposed class action alleging the company manufactured polychlorinated biphenyls used in window caulk in schools, saying the town has no proof that it made the PCBs or that they ever reached toxic levels.
