Power Integrations Inc. on Tuesday urged the California federal judge overseeing its $105 million patent infringement trial against Fairchild Semiconductor Inc. to allow it to introduce evidence of a prior jury verdict showing that its rival has a history of stealing Power Integrations' intellectual property on power supply chips.

Fairchild Semiconductor Corp. should pay $105 million in damages for infringing two Power Integrations Inc. patents on power supply chips found in many modern electronic products, Power Integrations told a California federal jury on Monday during opening statements in the rivals' high-stakes intellectual property trial.
