Wyndham Vacation Resorts, Inc. on Thursday asked a Tennessee federal judge to sanction a rival company it claimed engaged in a bait-and-switch to lure its customers to breach their timeshare contracts, saying the company acted in bad faith and thwarted the discovery process.

Wyndham Vacation Resorts Inc. filed suit Friday in Tennessee federal court alleging a rival company started by some of its former employees engaged in a bait-and-switch scheme to lure Wyndham time share owners to transfer or breach their contracts.
