Floor Maker Can't Copyright Nature, Judge Says
A Georgia federal judge on Thursday ended a copyright dispute between two laminate flooring manufacturers whose products purport to resemble rustic, aged wooden floors, ruling that designs copying elements in nature are not eligible for copyright protection.
