Athletic clothing maker Lululemon USA Inc. will escape a class action alleging it collected customers' personally identifying information at points of sale in California by furnishing a $25 voucher to up to 14,000 claimants, under a settlement preliminarily approved on Wednesday.

Athletic clothing maker Lululemon USA Inc. has been accused of recording customers' personal information during credit card transactions and sharing that information with third-party marketers in violation of consumer protection laws, according to a proposed class action removed to California federal court Friday.
