Campbell Soup Loses Bid To Can GMO Class Action
A Florida judge on Friday rejected efforts by Campbell Soup Co. to scrap a class action accusing it of falsely labeling soups with genetically modified corn as 100 percent natural, saying federal approval of a related product does not preempt claims against the soups at issue.

Campbell Says GMO Suit Fails Because USDA Approved Labels
Campbell Soup Co. told a Florida federal judge Friday that the court should dismiss a consumer class action alleging the company's 100% Natural line of soups feature false and misleading labeling, because the claims are preempted by prior federal approval.
