A Washington federal judge ruled Monday that online retailer NoMoreRack.com probably isn't infringing Nordstrom Inc.'s trademarked "Nordstrom Rack" brand, denying the bigger retailer a preliminary injunction against the website.

Nordstrom Inc. went after an online retailer Friday in Washington state, alleging that NoMoreRack Retail Group Inc. is co-opting trademarks connected with the brick-and-mortar department store chain's "Rack" shop locations.
