The University of California and Los Alamos National Security LLC on Thursday asked an Illinois federal judge to disqualify law firm SNR Denton from representing Caldera Pharmaceuticals Inc. in their ongoing patent licensing dispute, saying SNR has a conflict of interest.

The University of California and Los Alamos National Security LLC failed to honor an X-ray licensing agreement with Caldera Pharmaceuticals Inc. that cost the company over $600 million in losses, according to a patent infringement suit removed to Illinois federal court Monday.
