A California federal judge on Thursday preserved most of a proposed class action accusing Playtex Products Inc. of misleadingly marketing the SPF 85-110 formulas of its Banana Boat sunscreen as having superior sunburn protection, ruling the plaintiff could sue over products she didn't buy.
