St. Paul Mercury Insurance Co. has settled its allegations that Everest Indemnity Insurance Co. failed to shoulder its share of the defense and indemnity coverage in a suit accusing Parkland Homes Inc. of shoddy construction work, according to documents filed Monday in California federal court.
