Two qui tam plaintiffs on Thursday freed four medical companies from a suit claiming they were involved in a kickback scheme with Amgen Inc. to market its anemia drug off-label, ending a decadelong False Claims Act dispute over the drugmaker's admitted misbranding of its Aranesp anemia drug.
