A Florida federal judge has canceled an upcoming evidentiary hearing to resolve a conflict regarding the overlap of representation of clients involved in multidistrict litigation accusing Chiquita Brands International Inc. of supporting Colombian warlords, saying Boies Schiller & Flexner LLP and a rival attorney have resolved the matter.

Boies Schiller & Flexner LLP moved to dismiss a suit in Florida federal court Tuesday, saying an attorney's antitrust claims alleging it deceptively took his clients in a multidistrict litigation against Chiquita Brands International Inc. and blocked new clients are unripe and that the court lacks jurisdiction.
