Enviros Get $1.5M Attys' Fees In Suit Over Mont. Coal Units
Two environmental groups who dropped their Clean Air Act suit against the owners of a 2,094-megawatt coal-fired plant in Montana when a Talen Energy subsidiary and Puget Sound Energy agreed to close two units of the facility have been awarded just over $1.5 million in attorneys' fees and costs.

A Talen Energy subsidiary and Puget Sound Energy have agreed to a six-year time frame to shut down two units at a 2,094-megawatt coal-fired plant in Montana as part of a deal to end a Clean Air Act suit brought by environmental groups, according to a proposed settlement filed Tuesday.
