A Texas federal judge on Thursday approved a settlement between power converter maker SynQor Inc. and Cisco Systems over claims that Cisco infringed a pair of patents related to technology for which a jury awarded SynQor $95 million in 2010 for an earlier breach of several other patents.

Power-converter maker SynQor Inc.on Friday renewed its long-running dispute with Cisco Systems Inc. in Texas federal court, claiming that despite promises to convert to noninfringing technology following SynQor's $95 million win in the court in 2010, the company has breached an additional pair of patents.
