A Pennsylvania federal judge on Friday agreed to dismiss and send to arbitration a putative class action alleging that construction giant MasTec Inc. breached a contract to pay installation fees to DirecTV service technicians.

Infrastructure engineering and construction giant MasTec Inc. was hit with a putative class action in Pennsylvania federal court Tuesday alleging that, in breach of contract, it failed to pay DirecTV service technicians fees owed for satellite TV or Internet service and equipment installations.
