An Illinois federal judge denied on Wednesday dress seller Peaches Boutique's bid to escape a multimillion-dollar lawsuit alleging the retailer has violated U.S. antitrust laws by using its dominant position in the Chicago area to push out its competitors.

Chicago-area upstart dress seller Hannah's Boutique Inc. hit the more established Peaches Boutique with a multimillion-dollar antitrust lawsuit Friday, alleging it used hardball tactics such as slander and espionage to corner the local women's apparel market.
