A California federal judge on Tuesday denied medical device company NuVasive Inc.'s attempt to toss rival AngleFix Tech LLC's allegations that NuVasive infringed a patented screw-and-plate system used in orthopedic operations, ruling that claims construction was premature at this stage of the case.
