Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC urged a Delaware federal court on Friday to refuse to overturn a jury verdict that upheld the validity of its tire pressure sensor patents, saying the jury was right to not place its trust in an invalidity expert who was impeached on the stand.

A Delaware federal jury ruled Thursday that patents held by Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC on sensors used to monitor vehicle tire pressure are valid, but they were not infringed by global sensor maker Schrader-Bridgeport International Inc. as alleged by Bridgestone.
