Schaeffler's US Arm Can't Dodge Auto Parts Antitrust MDL
A Michigan federal judge refused Tuesday to let German bearings manufacturer Schaeffler AG's U.S. unit exit the multidistrict litigation accusing auto parts makers of fixing the prices of bearings, saying it's "plausible" the unit had directly participated in the conspiracy and attended secret meetings with other defendants.

Japanese Bearings Maker Can't Dodge Price-Fixing MDL
A Michigan federal judge on Tuesday denied Japanese bearings manufacturer NTN Corp.'s bid to escape the multidistrict litigation accusing auto parts makers of fixing the prices of bearings, saying NTN was a "major participant" in a similar scheme in Japan, during which time it exported a substantial amount of bearings to the U.S.

Antitrust Claims Trimmed From Auto Parts Price-Fixing MDL
A Michigan federal judge on Thursday trimmed a number of claims brought against several auto-parts makers accused of bid-rigging and fixing prices in a multidistrict litigation, including antitrust claims brought against them under Illinois and Massachusetts law, in one prong of the massive MDL.
