Ultratec Wants Fees After $44M Phone Patent Trial
Ultratec Inc. on Monday asked a Wisconsin federal judge to order rival Sorenson Communications Inc. to pay attorneys' fees for "weak" motions made during a suit in which a jury awarded Ultratec $44.1 million for Sorenson's infringement of patents for closed-captioned technology for telephones.
