Judge Sends Abuse-Resistant OxyContin Patents To Trial
A New York federal judge on Tuesday issued a major claims construction ruling for two of Purdue Pharma LP's OxyContin patents that are designed to prevent abuse of the painkiller, clearing the way for a July bench trial with generic producers over whether the patents are valid.
