EPA Accused Of Letting Iron Plant Pollute Waters
Two Chippewa Indian bands and a Minnesota environmental group on Monday sued the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, accusing the agency of allowing an iron production facility to dump dangerous levels of pollutants into area waters for the next eight years in violation of the Clean Water Act.
