Dick's Sporting Goods Inc. has agreed to pay up to $10 million to settle a conditionally certified collective action and proposed class actions in which assistant managers accused it of stiffing them on overtime pay, according to a Wednesday filing in Massachusetts federal court.

Dick's Sporting Goods Inc. told a Massachusetts federal judge on Thursday that assistant managers who allege they were stiffed on overtime pay are trying to put off their depositions, wrongly withholding documents and falsely accusing the retailer of failing to meet discovery requirements.
