Warner Music Strikes $4.2M Deal To End Intern Wages Suit
Warner Music Group Corp. has agreed to pay about $4.2 million to resolve a putative class and collective action brought by former interns who claimed they were unlawfully denied minimum wage, the plaintiffs told a New York federal court Tuesday.

A New York federal judge on Tuesday certified a class of approximately 3,000 interns of Warner Music Group Corp. who were allegedly misclassified as exempt from minimum wage and overtime requirements, finding a prima facie case of a common Fair Labor Standard Act violation.
